"Please don't ask me about my leaves."
For me personally, I could not imagine a greater pain then when a couple finds out that having a child is not an option for them. To be denied children by nature itself - and then given a gift.
Timothy, does in fact come straight from a miracle, and yes, he does have leaves on his legs. Obviously no ordinary boy. However, Timothy's given traits are put to the test, and given opportunities to help others - not just his parents. There's a chance to love and be loved, to make another laugh, to make another see beauty, to make another proud, to rock out, and to score a winning goal.
Though he touches so many lives, he is really there to help his parents. Two people that love him more than anything they could ever love, no matter how long he was around. They were two people that wanted to do nothing but love their child, be good parents, and love and be loved.
The worry and pressure about being the perfect parent is always there. You never know exactly what to do, or what's right. You go with your gut, trying to be the best parent for your child because you love them more than life itself. To me that's the easy part about parenting, the part where ou get to love your kid. Because as crazy they can drive you, proud they can make you, or disappointment then can bring you... there is always love for them. Because mistakes get made on both sides, but there are always lessons to learn, and more mistakes to make. But loving, that's the easy part.
