Safe House

 No One Is Safe

A CIA rookie looking to prove himself competent, gets mixed up in a dangerous game when he falls responsible for keeping a wanted man alive.

Everyone seems to have a fascination with the CIA, MI6... secret agencies working among us to keep us out of harm's reach. But when deadly assassins work against us, there can be many people affected. Denzel Washington plays, Frost. A character who's gone rouge from the CIA. Ryan Reynolds, the keeper of a CIA approved safe house must maintain Frost even after he is compromised.

I was happy with Reynolds acting. Normally I'm used to his light-hearted funny characters. But this character was highly concentrated on doing a job, and doing it well. The action was decent, and it definitely offered a creative insight on the CIA, MI6 operatives. It was a well written story, well executed by talented actors.

Year: 2012
Rating: R
Actors: Brendan Gleeson, Ryan Reynolds, Denzel Washington
