Restless

Who do you live for?

A film by which I can only hope to understand the pain of great loss. You can love someone so much, and be so lost without them. You can blame them for leaving you, miss them, or try to forget them. But the pain is always their - like a weight constantly tied to your back leaving you crippled and unable to walk right.

How do you face death without fear? Would the comfort of having someone go with you help? Or would you simply choose to see the beauty in what you have left? We can choose to die and regret so much, living is having everything. Death is having nothing.

Enoch falls for a girl, whom he never wishes to be without. Stricken from his own tragedy, he finds a friend, learns to move on and accept what has happened to him, and what will come in the future.

Restless: A title which applies to all characters. A restless girl, unable to let her mind waste away while she waits for the inevitable. A boy, who sat still for far too long, and when he woke up - everyone was gone. And lastly, for a man who gave his life for his country - still unable to rest in peace still waiting and holding on for something. The title matches three characters perfectly. All unable to sit still and wait while life passes them by. Together they learn to embrace death, with or without fear.
